|
The MSL Toledo Stingers dealt the MSL Toronto Thunder a 4-2 loss at MSL Thunder Ballpark. Gabriel Bustamante was the star on offense. He was 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. The last-place Stingers own a record of 10-35.
MSL Toledo used a big swing from Wang Bi to get the win. The shortstop walloped a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Stingers up, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it changed the outcome.
"I thought we played a nice game," Bi told the MSL Toledo Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
