The MSL Boston Patriots did just enough to sneak past the MSL Buffalo White Walkers, 2-1, at MSL Buffalo Ballpark. MSL Boston pitcher Jacob Wirt, in particular, had a standout performance. The Patriots improved to a lofty 32-13.

Vincent O'Neil made it 2-1, in favor of MSL Boston when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with one out in the top of the eighth. The Patriots went on to win.

"We busted our tails," said MSL Buffalo manager Emmett Amavizca. "But we came up short."
