Rainbow Mermaids Roll to 8-2 Win Over Shredders
|
MSL Northern Virginia starter Dudley Farrell pitched well against the MSL Hollywood Shredders at MSL Northern Virginia Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 8-2. The winner was Farrell. He threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Clint Ellis. MSL Northern Virginia is now 24-22.
Center Fielder Trevor Jordan made an impact for MSL Northern Virginia, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Clint Ellis in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Jordan went 2-3 with a double and 2 walks.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Farrell said after the game.
