White Walkers Stop Coeur, 6-5

The MSL Buffalo White Walkers bested the MSL St. Louis Coeur by a score of 6-5, with second baseman Claudio Muñóz getting the main credit. On the day, Muñóz went 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the White Walkers. Dean Medley picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 9. On the season, he is now 8-6. At 28-19, the White Walkers are currently 4th in the PL MSL.
Mei-shio Qing's at-bat in the top of the fifth inning was a big one for MSL Buffalo. Coming to bat with one out, runners on 1st and 3rd and MSL Buffalo trailing 2-1, the catcher hit a sacrifice fly.
"This was a good win for us," said Muñóz. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
