Al Gross impressed in the 9-7 MSL New Orleans win over MSL Boston. Gross, who is tied for 2nd in the PMSL with a .634 slugging percentage, was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. The win went to Juan Picardo in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Yoo-ngan Zhou took the loss. After today's action, MSL New Orleans sits at 31-16, while MSL Boston falls to 33-14.

Rich Strong played the role of hero for MSL New Orleans. In the bottom of the 11th, he launched a 2-run home run off Yoo-ngan Zhou to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was the decisive blow.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Strong.
