In a tight contest at MSL Northern Virginia Ballpark, the MSL Hollywood Shredders edged the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids by the score of 3-2. MSL Hollywood catcher Carlos Morales, who blasted 2 home runs, was a key contributor. Their 28-20 record puts the Shredders third in the PL MSL.

Jesús Durán went 1-4 with a double for MSL Hollywood. With one out and the game tied in the top of the seventh inning, Durán had a clutch at-bat. Facing MSL Northern Virginia hurler Carlos González, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Shredders a 3-2 lead.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said MSL Northern Virginia skipper Leslie Brooks.
