White Walkers Victorious at MSL Toledo, 4-2
|
The MSL Buffalo White Walkers topped the MSL Toledo Stingers, 4-2, with second baseman Gonzalo González playing a big role. González was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the White Walkers in the win. Javier Mejía closed the door for MSL Buffalo, picking up his 3rd save of the year. The White Walkers now have a record of 20-28 with the win over MSL Toledo.
The White Walkers got an important contribution from designated hitter Seung-ho Kim, who in the top of the second punched a 0-2 splitter to left for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the White Walkers ahead, 2-0.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said MSL Buffalo manager Emmett Amavizca. "It's usually not just one thing."
