Rainbow Mermaids Earn 11-10 Win Versus White Walkers
It was pandemonium at MSL Northern Virginia Ballpark after an exciting walk-off win.

The MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids beat the MSL Buffalo White Walkers, 11-10, in part because of third baseman Scott Perkins. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times. MSL Northern Virginia pitcher Roberto Alegría got the win. He's now 4-1. Ryuichi Agano was tagged with the loss.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Perkins. Facing Ryuichi Agano with the bases empty, the MSL Northern Virginia third baseman had a solo home run. Game over, walk-off style!

"We got the victory," said Perkins. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."

The win makes MSL Northern Virginia 27-21.
