MSL Detroit second baseman Don Nielsen had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds, 7-6. Rafael Morán got the save, the 1st for him this season. MSL Dayton, with the loss, is 0-2.

In the first inning, Nielsen had a 3-run home run for MSL Detroit. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Rock City on top, 3-0.
