James Payton of the MSL Montana Pandas swung a mean bat for the last few weeks and was acclaimed the M3L Mexican Summer League Batter of the Month for July.
The 18-year-old right fielder slapped out a .439 batting average, 7 home runs, 17 RBIs, 23 runs scored and a .623 on-base percentage.
Payton is currently hitting at a .357 pace with 11 home runs and 32 RBIs.
