Bowties designated hitter Umberto Ubbens put his stamp on his team's 7-5 win over the MSL Panama City Piranhas. Ubbens went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for MSL Buckhead in the contest. The defeat makes MSL Panama City 0-2.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Albert Laitinen in the bottom of the ninth. That's when he hit a 2-run home run off 16-year old left-handed pitcher Darge Masamba to win it for MSL Buckhead and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Ubbens said.
