Hurricanes Pick Up 4-0 Win Over MSL Mexico City
|
The MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes topped the MSL Mexico City Blue Demons, 4-0, in M3L Mexican Summer League action at MSL Blue Demon Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to MSL Cape Coral pitcher and Telões, Portugal, native Assunção Cadoro. Cadoro, now 1-0, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 7, walking 3, and allowing no runs. MSL Cape Coral goes to 1-1.
MSL Cape Coral used the hitting of Alonso Rivero to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put the Hurricanes on top, 2-0. For the game, Rivero had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
