The MSL Charleston Battery beat the MSL Oakland Oaks, 15-12, at MSL Oakland Ballpark. The win was due in part to third baseman Jeff Hickman, who was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 3 walks. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Picking up the save was Sang-keun Yi, his 2nd. With the win, MSL Charleston goes to 2-0.

Albany, California native Jeff Hickman had a clutch at-bat in the top of the ninth for the Battery. With MSL Charleston trailing 12-11, he hit a grand slam home run.
