The MSL Nova Scotia Leviathan met little resistance from the MSL D.C. Divided, beating them, 13-2, at MSL D.C. Ballpark. Leonard Kawhi led the way. He went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for MSL Nova Scotia. Casu Marzu, the winning pitcher, improved to 1-0. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 2 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 0. Xie-li Kun was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.
In the top of the seventh, Kawhi put his team in front with his 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came against Takehide Rin, made it 3-1, MSL Nova Scotia.
"We put the pedal to the metal," said Kawhi.
