Rock City Fight for 3-2 Win
The MSL Dayton Dirty Reds got a superb performance from pitcher Mike McGuire, but the MSL Detroit Rock City still won the game, 3-2. McGuire threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. Jacob Underhill picked up the win in relief. Randall Middleton took the loss for MSL Dayton. The win takes MSL Detroit to 3-0.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 2-2, 17-year old right fielder Seung-ook Yu won it for MSL Detroit. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Yu hit a first pitch fastball from Randall Middleton for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 3-2 win.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Yu.
