A 3-RBI performance from designated hitter Alfredo Gómez led the MSL Mexico City Blue Demons to a win over the MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes, 5-3. MSL Mexico City reliever Nori Jouon picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Marcos Costa was tagged with the loss. Bertrand Gilbert finished to wrap up his 1st save.

MSL Mexico City took a 5-3 lead on Gómez's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Marcos Costa in the bottom of the eighth, propelled MSL Mexico City to the win.

"Very good win for our guys," said Gómez.
