The MSL Philadelphia Liberty satisfied the home crowd at MSL Liberty Ballpark, treating them to a season-opening win, 6-3, over the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen. Starting Pitcher Gil Chapman was the standout performer for MSL Philadelphia.

MSL Philadelphia took the lead, 5-2, on Harry Campbell's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off MSL Ft. Worth pitcher Máximo Romero in the bottom of the seventh.

"We did a lot of things right," said Campbell.
