Sosuke Saito pitched well, but the MSL Charleston Battery still fell short, losing, 4-3, to the MSL Baltimore Bullets at MSL Charleston Ballpark. The loss makes MSL Charleston 2-3.

MSL Baltimore used a clutch at-bat from Brian Schultz to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Bullets ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

After the game, MSL Baltimore manager Tom Wilson applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
