Haavikko Leads Oaks to 10-9 Win Over Dirty Reds
The MSL Oakland Oaks powered past the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds, 10-9, at MSL Dayton Ballpark. Iiro Haavikko provided some of the pop. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Gurumita Narasimha earned the save, his 2nd, for the Oaks. With the loss, MSL Dayton sinks to 0-5.

The Oaks got a gift in the top of the eighth inning, when they were leading 9-6. With two out and the bases loaded, Ramón López reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 10-6, MSL Oakland.

"It was a solid team effort," said Haavikko after the game.
