The MSL Charleston Battery pasted the MSL Baltimore Bullets with a convincing 16-3 defeat at MSL Charleston Ballpark. Jorge Marrero was a prime factor in the MSL Charleston win. He went 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 5. Matvei Laenko picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Errol Beck suffered the loss. Barney Bloeckner wrapped it up, recording his 1st save.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the sixth. That's when Marrero hit a run-scoring single off Errol Beck. It propelled the Battery into the lead, 4-3.
