The MSL Montana Pandas locked up a win at MSL Panama City Ballpark, knocking off the MSL Panama City Piranhas, 6-2. On the mound for MSL Montana was right-hander John Joseph. He played a major role in the triumph. The loss has the Piranhas at 1-1.

Eiske Warmerdam took MSL Panama City hurler Woody Adkins deep in the top of the first. His 3-run home run put the Pandas on top, 3-0. In all, Warmerdam had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said MSL Montana skipper Mario Ruíz.
