Starting pitcher Chaz Michael-Michaels gave the Colorado Billy Goats a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Las Vegas Flamingos, 2-1, at Grazing Hills. The 9th-place Flamingos now sit at 25-34.
The Billy Goats got a clutch hit from designated hitter Marcos Iglecias. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Billy Goats.
"We busted our tails," said Las Vegas manager Tom Williams. "But we came up short."
