Lighthouse Lose By a Run at Montana
The Montana Pandas topped the Long Island Lighthouse, 4-3, in United States Silver League action at Panda Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Montana pitcher Cornell Rogers. Montana reliever Mike Pace snagged the win, upping his record to 3-0. Steve Romero shouldered the loss. Martin Luther earned the save for Montana, his 7th.

Montana took the lead, 4-3, on Jason Zimmerman's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Long Island pitcher Steve Romero in the bottom of the seventh.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Rogers said.

The Pandas saw their record improve to 31-28.
