MSL Buckhead and MSL Nova Scotia duked it out and the Bowties came out victorious.
MSL Buckhead left-hander Arturo Hernández pitched his team to victory over the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathan at MLB Buckhead Ballpark. The final score was 6-3. Hernández, the winner, moves to 1-0. He threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 1 walk. The save was credited to R.J. Farrell, his 2nd.
With two out in the bottom of the second, Hoshi Kondo put MSL Buckhead in front, 3-2, with a run-scoring single. The Bowties went on to win the ballgame.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Kondo told the MSL Buckhead Chronicle.
MSL Buckhead is off to a hot start at 5-2.
