Northern Lions BC Win with Late Rally
The excitement level at MSL Thunder Bay Ballpark reached a crescendo in the final at-bat.

The Northern Lions BC earned a hard-fought, 4-3 win in 11 innings at MSL Thunder Bay Ballpark. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from MSL Long Island pitcher Ed Lemay. Lemay went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. The winner was Qi-zhen Pai in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Ken'ichi Adachi took the loss.

Batting in the bottom of the 11th, 17-year old shortstop Pablo Robles had a real shot to win the game. MSL Long Island pitcher Ken'ichi Adachi was determined not to let it happen. But with two outs, Robles hit a run-scoring single. The Northern Lions BC had a walk-off triumph.

"We're scuffling right now," said losing manager Nees Bogermans.

MSL Long Island, with the loss, is 2-5.
