Divided Suffer One-Run Loss at MSL Oakland
Though he had a stellar game, Dametrius Crownover could not prevent his team, the MSL D.C. Divided, from losing, 5-4, to the MSL Oakland Oaks. Crownover went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Picking up the win was Gustavo García. He went 8 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits. The right--hander struck out 5 and walked 2. Earning his 2nd save for MSL Oakland was Ferrie Bolt.

Ralph Sterling hit a run-scoring double off Vincenzio Giannini in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Oaks in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Sterling had 1 single and 2 walks, while going 2 for 3.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said MSL D.C. manager Wessel Rosas. "The effort was great."

MSL D.C., with the loss, is still a stout 5-2.
