Grey Wolves Fall, 9-4, to Chasovschikov, Lakers
The MSL Echo Park Lakers beat the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves by a score of 9-4. MSL Echo Park left fielder Grigorii Chasovschikov deserved the lion's share of the credit. Chasovschikov was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Lakers. Frazer Bice was the winner. He's now 1-0. The loser was Pat Edmonds. The win puts MSL Echo Park at 3-0.

Tied up with the Grey Wolves in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Lakers got a boost from third baseman Octávio Luna. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Luna saw a 2-2 splitter from Pat Edmonds and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put MSL Echo Park on top, 4-3.
