Dirty Reds Losing Streak at 8 After Extra-Inning Loss to Bowties
|
The MSL Buckhead Bowties cut down the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds by the score of 9-8 in 10 innings. Much of the credit went to right fielder Dave Walker. Walker was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Bowties. The loss has the Dirty Reds at 0-8.
In the bottom of the tenth, Rafael Ruíz came to bat with the game in the balance. And he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single off MSL Dayton pitcher Sébastien Lecocq.
"From the last whatever, five, six, seven games, there's really only one way to go and that's up," said losing manager Gabriel Rentería.
