The MSL Toledo Stingers defeated the MSL Buckhead Bowties, 13-0, at MLB Buckhead Ballpark. Leading the charge for MSL Toledo was right fielder John Wallace. He went 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. Kiyonaga Kondo got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 7 innings. The loss drops MSL Buckhead to 0-4.

With MSL Toledo leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Wallace hit a splitter from Louis Barberi for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Stingers ahead, 5-0.
