MSL Panama City Hands MSL Buffalo 2-0 Defeat

MSL Panama City Piranhas starter Peter Wells turned in a top-notch performance against the MSL Buffalo White Walkers at MSL Buffalo Ballpark. The result was a win for the Piranhas, 2-0. Wells, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 1, walking 1, and allowing no runs. With their winning streak at 4, the Piranhas have raced to a strong start this season.
MSL Panama City used the hitting of Ramiro Peña to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put the Piranhas on top, 1-0. For the game, Peña had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager David Austin.
