Thanks in large part to left fielder Risto Leino, the MSL Oakland Oaks beat the MSL D.C. Divided, 5-2. Leino was 1-2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Steven Harden was the winner. Over 5.2 innings, he yielded 2 runs on 10 hits, with no walks and 4 strikeouts. MSL Oakland now has a record of 7-2.

Leino had a key at-bat for MSL Oakland in the bottom of the second. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and gave MSL Oakland an early 4-1 lead.
