Xaavier Clemons never let MSL Philadelphia get something going. The MSL Pittsburgh left-hander commanded his sinker in pitching the Kingfishers to a 2-1 win. Humphrey Weegerink, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. The defeat makes MSL Philadelphia 3-1.

Pete Bullard was the walk-off hero for MSL Pittsburgh. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Kingfishers left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Clemons.
