Dirty Reds Lose Again, 9-6, to Bowties
|
The MSL Buckhead Bowties beat the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds, 9-6. MSL Buckhead catcher and San Bernardino, California, native Bill Poole led the way. MSL Buckhead reliever Esteban Castro was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Joong Huang took the loss. Pedro Rodríguez earned the save for MSL Buckhead, his 1st.
MSL Buckhead took the lead, 8-6, on Rafael Ruíz's 3rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Ruíz hit in the bottom of the seventh, made MSL Dayton pitcher Yong Tongbang wince.
"We just can't get over the hump," said losing manager Gabriel Rentería.
With the win, MSL Buckhead improves its record to 5-4.
