Dirty Reds Stay Hot with Extra-Inning Win
The MSL Dayton Dirty Reds pushed past the MSL Charleston Battery, 15-12, in 10 innings at MSL Charleston Ballpark. Gilberto Martínez went 4-6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 4 and driving in 3, to lead the charge. Gerhardt Heckmair closed the game out for MSL Dayton, earning his 1st save. MSL Dayton is now 7-2.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher Donovan Goode came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing MSL Charleston pitcher George Louis, he hit a 0-2 fastball for a run-scoring double. It was a game-changer, putting MSL Dayton on top, 13-12.

"Our guys refused to lose," said Martínez.
