MSL Ft. Worth Ballpark was the site of a competitive game between the MSL Long Island Lighthouse and MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen.

The MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen eked out a 3-2 win versus the MSL Long Island Lighthouse at MSL Ft. Worth Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Tomiichi Matsuo. He was terrific. Jonathan Matthews locked down his 1st save.

The Cattlemen got a big hit from designated hitter Liam McPoyle. In the bottom of the sixth, McPoyle smacked a 2-run home run off MSL Long Island pitcher Michael Evans. It was his 1st home run of the season. Suddenly, the Cattlemen were ahead, 2-1.

"Good teams find a way to win close games," Matsuo said.

The win puts MSL Ft. Worth at 3-2.
