Blue Demons Take Tight Tangle
The MSL Philadelphia Liberty could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Martín Machado into a win. Instead, the MSL Mexico City Blue Demons prevailed, 5-4. Machado came in in relief and pitched to 16 batters. The win puts MSL Mexico City at 2-3.

MSL Mexico City used a clutch hit from Kuang-an Won to snatch the win. The pinch hitter belted a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blue Demons ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

MSL Mexico City manager Michael Woodard commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
