Big Day for Pérez as Cattlemen Down Pandas, 9-4

Norberto Pérez was a major contributor to the 9-4 MSL Ft. Worth win over MSL Montana. The Cattlemen left fielder went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. MSL Ft. Worth reliever Vic Wright was the winner. His record is now 1-0. John Joseph took the loss. MSL Ft. Worth has a mark of 2-3 after the win.
The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Pérez hit a grand slam home run off John Joseph. It propelled the Cattlemen into the lead, 5-1.
"We played hard and won," said Pérez. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
