Witney Leads Blue Demons to Win
The MSL Mexico City Blue Demons stormed past the MSL Echo Park Lakers, 19-4, at MSL Blue Demon Ballpark. MSL Mexico City first basemanTim Witney led the hit parade. He went 3-4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 6. MSL Mexico City reliever Norberto Chapa picked up the win to move to 1-0. Frazer Bice suffered the loss. MSL Mexico City goes to 4-2 with the win.

With MSL Mexico City leading 4-3 in the bottom of the third, Witney came up to bat against MSL Echo Park pitcher Frazer Bice. Witney hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Blue Demons on top, 8-3.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Witney.
