White Walkers Best Piranhas in Pitching Duel
|
The MSL Buffalo White Walkers got a magnificent effort from pitcher Derek Pearce, who kept MSL Panama City hitters in check en route to a 2-1 White Walkers win at MSL Buffalo Ballpark. Earning his 1st save of the year was Jorge Alvarado. MSL Panama City now has a record of 5-1.
Manny Valdés, who is rated as the 18th best prospect by BNN, helped out the MSL Buffalo cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Pearce.
