A good performance from catcher Alfonso Alonso helped the MSL D.C. Divided defeat the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathan, 7-6. Alonso went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk for the Divided. Kitahachi Sasaki picked up the win with 5.2 innings of work. He allowed 5 runs on 11 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 2-2. Picking up the save was 18-year old right-handed pitcher José Antelo.

MSL D.C. used a clutch at-bat from Motoyasu Kichida to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Divided ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Kichida told a MSL D.C. Chronicle reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

The win gives MSL D.C. a season record of 5-5.
