Phil Edney knocked in 4 runs to help the MSL Echo Park Lakers win, 7-6, over the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen. Getting the save was José Chavarría, his 1st. MSL Ft. Worth falls to 4-3.

Edney had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Tomiichi Matsuo, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Lakers a 7-5 lead. It was the 2nd double of the year for Edney.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Edney.
