MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes pitcher Kent Getright was in top form, leading his team past the MSL Long Island Lighthouse, 4-1. Fernando Hernández closed the door for MSL Cape Coral, picking up his 3rd save of the year. With the victory, the Hurricanes record stands at 6-5.

MSL Cape Coral used the timely hitting of Casimiro Girou to capture the win. The catcher socked a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Hurricanes ahead, 4-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Clutch hitting plus clutch pitching usually equals a win," said Girou.
