The MSL Philadelphia Liberty picked up a win at MSL Liberty Ballpark, knocking off the MSL Long Island Lighthouse, 4-2. On the mound for MSL Philadelphia was left-hander Santiago Rodríguez. He played a key role in the triumph. Denis Teissier earned the save, his 2nd, for the Liberty. At 5-2, the Liberty have played well so far.

Chris Sánchez's at-bat in the bottom of the fifth inning was a big one for MSL Philadelphia. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and MSL Philadelphia trailing 2-1, the second baseman reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Rodríguez.
