Flamingos Handle Bullets, Nab 7-3 Win
The MSL Las Vegas Flamingos topped the MSL Baltimore Bullets, 7-3, in USSL Mexican Summer League action at MSL Las Vegas Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to MSL Las Vegas pitcher and Memphis, Tennessee, native Stanley Daniel. Daniel got the win, improving to 2-0. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. MSL Las Vegas goes to 4-3.

The Bullets had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Flamingos going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 18-year old shortstop Scott Vineyard came to the plate. Vineyard hit a 3-run home run on a 0-1 fastball from MSL Baltimore hurler Juan Ferbadez. It was Vineyard's 1st home run of the year.

"We did a lot of things right," said Vineyard.
