Hurricanes Lose, 7-6, as Lighthouse Rally
The MSL Long Island Lighthouse had to overcome a big game from MSL Cape Coral center fielder José Flores to leave MSL Long Island Ballpark with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-6, in 13 innings. Flores went 4-6 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. MSL Long Island is now 6-6.

The Lighthouse got a clutch hit from first baseman Cedric Jackson. In the bottom of the 13th, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Lighthouse.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Nees Bogermans, the MSL Long Island manager.
