Leroy Leads MSL Echo Park to 1-0 Win
In a low-scoring game between MSL Echo Park and MSL Detroit, pitcher Lucas Leroy was excellent. The MSL Echo Park left-hander helped his team knock off the Elite, 1-0. The loss drops MSL Detroit to 2-6.

The standout performance belonged to 17-year-old Leroy. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Lakers. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Elite, striking out 8 and scattering 3 hits over 7 innings. Leroy is now 1-1 on the season.

"Lucas was able to execute his pitches," said MSL Echo Park manager Andrew Wilson. "Simple as that."
