MSL Thunder Bay designated hitter Myeong-keun Kim had a 7-RBI game, which helped his team beat the MSL Charleston Battery, 13-8. By defeating MSL Charleston, the 7th-place Northern Lions BC improved to 6-6.

With MSL Thunder Bay leading 7-2 in the top of the sixth, Kim came up to bat against MSL Charleston pitcher Warren Brooks. Kim hit a fastball to center for a grand slam home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Northern Lions BC on top, 11-2.

"If you were looking for a pitchers' duel," said Kim, "this wasn't it."
