Breeuwer Excels, But Northern Lions BC Win
The MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC overcame a good performance by MSL D.C. third baseman Dean Breeuwer to knock off MSL D.C., 11-7, at MSL D.C. Ballpark. Breeuwer went 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Andrés Domínguez, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3.2 innings. MSL Thunder Bay is now 8-4. MSL D.C. is 8-4.

MSL Thunder Bay won the game in part because of Pete Holley. The third baseman ripped a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Northern Lions BC ahead, 6-0. For the game, Holley had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Holley said. "We did a good job of that today."
