Ponies Rally to Nose Past MSL Charleston
|
The MSL Kingston Ponies picked up a win at MSL Kingston Township Ballpark, knocking off the MSL Charleston Battery, 6-5, in 12 innings. On the mound for MSL Kingston was left-hander Patrick McMillon. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. With the win, MSL Kingston pushed its record to 8-4.
The Ponies relied on right fielder Simon Oost for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 12th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
"We couldn't have scripted it any better," McMillon said in his postgame press conference.
