Slumping Dirty Reds Lose 8th Straight
MSL St. Louis Coeur starter Rafael García hurled his team past the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds, 3-2. Juan Sánchez snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Chris Guzmán suffered the loss. MSL Dayton has now lost 8 consecutive games.

José Vásquez was the walk-off hero for MSL St. Louis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Coeur catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We're in a rut," said MSL Dayton manager Owen Kieffer.
