MSL Toledo Scrapes Out 4-2 Win
The MSL Panama City Piranhas went down to defeat to Juan Martínez and his MSL Toledo teammates. The final score was 4-2, in favor of the Stingers. The winner was MSL Toledo reliever Arturo Santos, now 1-1. The loser was Sergio Palmeiro. The win puts MSL Toledo at 3-5.

MSL Toledo used a clutch hit from Jorge Valdéz to get the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Stingers ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

After the game, MSL Toledo manager José Pinto applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
