MSL Charleston turned a fine outing from starter Larry St. John into a victory over the MSL Long Island Lighthouse at MSL Charleston Ballpark. The final score was 3-0. Tim Manning, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2061 draft, earned the save for MSL Charleston. MSL Charleston is now 7-6.

Júlio Díaz had a big solo home run for the Battery in the bottom of the fourth inning. With MSL Charleston leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from Myron Carter, who leads the 3MSL in innings pitched with 35.0, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Battery on top, 2-0.
