MSL D.C. first baseman Richard Alfons was sensational. He went 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. MSL Dayton beat the Divided, 8-7, in 10 innings. The 10th-place Dirty Reds bumped their record to 5-8.

The Dirty Reds got a clutch hit from right fielder Luis Santana. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Dirty Reds.

"We came out with clear minds and swung the bats well," said MSL Dayton manager Owen Kieffer.
