Flamingos Defeated, 3-1, After MSL Panama City Rallies
The MSL Panama City Piranhas got a magnificent performance from pitcher Patrick Cook, who muffled the MSL Las Vegas offense en route to a tight, 3-1 Piranhas win at MSL Panama City Ballpark. MSL Panama City reliever Guy Harris picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Stanley Daniel was tagged with the loss. The loss drops the Flamingos to 7-2.

A key at-bat in the game came in the bottom of the sixth inning when the Piranhas sent teenager León Peña to the plate against Flamingos hurler Stanley Daniel. With a runner on 3rd and a whole stadium watching, the kid controlled his nerves and delivered huge, hitting a single off a 3-1 sinker to score 1.

"Patrick just went about his business, throwing strikes," said MSL Panama City manager Cody Blackburn.
