The St. Louis Coeur could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Josh Sargent into a win. Instead, the Baltimore Bullets prevailed, 4-1. Sargent threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball. Kjeld Burger collected his 17th save. With the victory, the Bullets upped their record to 32-29.
Brad Harris had a direct impact on the outcome. Harris contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put Baltimore up, 2-0.
Afterward, Bullets manager Brandon Slouck said, "We had some good at-bats, some big at-bats in some key situations."
